This page explains how EVFacts researches, writes, updates and corrects its content, and how advertising relates to editorial decisions.
Research and sources
We base articles on manufacturer press releases and specification sheets, official government and regulator publications, and standard industry references. Where a figure is an estimate or an expected launch detail, we say so. We do not copy text from other websites.
Accuracy and updates
Prices, subsidies, ranges and launch dates change often. We review popular articles regularly and update them when new official information is available. Prices shown are indicative ex-showroom values and may differ by city and variant.
Corrections
If you find an error, send it through our contact form. We check it against official sources and correct the article, and for significant changes we note the update in the article.
Calculators and tools
Our EV tools use simple formulas and the default values you can edit. Results are estimates for planning, not a guarantee of real-world cost, range or charging time.
Advertising and independence
EVFacts displays advertisements, including ads served by Google. Advertisers have no influence on our articles, and we do not accept payment for favourable coverage. If content is ever sponsored, it will be clearly labelled.
Images
Featured images are illustrative graphics prepared for this site or used for editorial illustration. If you believe an image infringes your rights, contact us and we will review it promptly.
